COURSE CONTENT

  • Setting up a website with WordPress.
  • Writing blog posts.
  • Creating web pages.
  • Customising the look of your blog.
  • Preparing and adding pictures.
  • Adding features to your blog.

COURSE AIMS/OBJECTIVES

  • Add blog posts and web pages.
  • Prepare and add pictures.
  • Customise the look of your blog.

TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS

Each stage will have a tutor demonstration followed by practical tasks to be carried out.

One-to-one help and handouts will be provided.


COURSE LEVEL/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Learners should have basic IT skills and be comfortable with using the internet.


HOW PROGRESS IS CHECKED DURING COURSE

Each practical task will be inspected and understanding will be checked during individual discussion with learners.


EXTRA STUDY OR PRACTICE REQUIRED AT HOME

None required.


MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE COURSE

A pen and paper for taking notes.

You will need online access to your email account.
