This qualification is designed to increase learners’ awareness and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects. By completing the qualification, learners will develop in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges which could support progression onto other appropriate qualifications and into relevant employment in in education settings, or the social care sector. This is a blended learning course.

  • COURSE CONTENT

    This qualification is designed to increase learners’ awareness and understanding of behaviour that challenges and its effects.

    By completing the qualification, learners will develop in-depth knowledge of behaviour that challenges which could support progression onto other appropriate qualifications and is relevant for employment in the health and social care sector and education.

    You will receive a Certificate from CACHE for a L2 Certificate in Understanding Behaviour that Challenges


    TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS

    Learners will use information from the workbooks and from the Powerpoint presentations on Moodle to complete the Assessment questions. As this is a blended learnign course, engagement will be as follows:

    – 60% project work and portfolio completion ( assessed remotely, with remote fedback and actions). Work will be accessed on Moodle and communication between distance learners and tutor through the forum.

    – 20% 1:1 or small group face to face meetings

    -20% skype 1:1 meetings


    COURSE LEVEL/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

    None, although a desire to understand the subject is important and successful completion could be a stepping stone into work.


    HOW PROGRESS IS CHECKED DURING COURSE

    There is a process of Quality checking which is designed to make sure that the qualification is quality driven. The final portfolio is checked by the awarding body to check standards are maintained in line with other providers’ country wide, after an internal quality check.


    EXTRA STUDY OR PRACTICE REQUIRED AT HOME

    Learners will complete the Assessments at home.
