Join this course and have fun whilst learning a new lifelong skill to be proud of.  This is an exciting course which enables you to learn how to make beautiful flowers, foliage and other decorations to turn your cakes into works of art.   Each term we make different flowers and foliage and explore different ways to display them.  If you have a particular flower you wish to make and the rest of the group agree we will try accommodate this.

  • Spring Flowers such as Primroses; Snowdrops; daffodils  and bluebells
  • A Flower Fairy using a spring theme
  • An Easter Decoration if time allows
  • How to Marzipan and Ice a Cake – Optional

    TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS

    The Tutor will have available the completed projects for students to view.

    All elements of the projects will be demonstrated by the tutor first. Students will then commence working independently with guidance from the tutors.

    A “Certificate of Attendance” will be given students completing a minimum of 80% of the course
