It is an introduction to the information and knowledge needed to work in a school or college environment which can apply to the many varied roles that full and part-time support staff may fulfil including: administrative roles, site support roles, technical roles and volunteers, as well as those roles that work directly with children and young people. It provides initial training and induction for those new in post and includes one mandatory safeguarding unit.

COURSE AIMS/OBJECTIVES

  • CACHE support work in schools and Colleges L2 Award.

TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS

6 half day sessions to complete workbooks for each unit.

All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods, which could include written assignments or tasks.
