Spanish Advanced - Term 3

Learn Spanish in 10 weeks at Portslade Adult Learning

During this term the lessons will be via internet. We will use Google Meet and we will complement the different sessions with feedbacks via email, phone calls (to discuss any possible queries that may arise) and to set homework. We will be looking at some social habits and customs and at some of the differences between English and Spanish societies. We will study the spoken language more deeply, including very common expressions of Modern Spanish to broaden our linguistic competence, paying special attention on how to organize the ideas we want to express in our speech. We will talk about geography, ecology, the world of money and payment methods. We will go deeper into the relative sentences (the subjunctive in these sentences) and we will learn computer jargon and mobile language. We will be looking at past tenses in greater detail to talk about past experiences. We will learn about famous figures in Spanish history, sport and cinema. We will revise regular and irregular verbs.
