COURSE CONTENT

Through sharing her creative process with you as she develops a new spoken word show, Rachel Shorer, who is one of New Writing South’s 2018 Writers Place Poets, will guide your and fellow students through creating and putting on a show. You’ll develop your ability to generate ideas, take creative risks and keep going with a project until it’s finished, as well as learning practical skills like collaborating with others, planning and managing projects, and promoting your work. The course will culminate in you sharing what you have made with an audience of friends and family.

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a working writer whilst developing your own creativity, and Rachel very much hopes you join her on this adventure! You can find out more about her and her work at www.rachelshorer.com
