COURSE CONTENT

This course is designed to be a fun and informative introduction to developing customer service skills and retail knowledge.

COURSE AIMS/OBJECTIVES

  • Understand the selling process
  • Understand how to find out what the customer wants
  • Understand how product information can be used to promote sales
  • Understanding the retail selling process

TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS

Audio visual, tutor input; group practical work; group discussion.


COURSE LEVEL/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

  • Interest in developing customer service skills.
  • No prior experience or qualifications required, however, learners will be required to build a portfolio with written work.


HOW PROGRESS IS CHECKED DURING COURSE

  • A portfolio of evidence will be produced.
  • 85% attendance required.


EXTRA STUDY OR PRACTICE REQUIRED AT HOME

A small amount of additional work may be required between sessions.
