A new year, a new beginning! It is never too late to get fit. Why not come along and join this fun exercise group that will help to improve your overall health and wellbing.

COURSE CONTENT

A low impact and intensity class designed to improve health and wellbeing for anyone who is physically inactive, overweight or has a health condition.

A fun group session which has proved to strengthen and tone the whole body by using resistance exercises taken by a qualified exercise instructor.

COURSE AIMS/OBJECTIVES

  • Improve health and wellbeing
  • Perform correctly aerobic exercises
  • Use proper breathing technique
  • Stretching practices

TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS

Exercises are modelled by the instructor.

Repetitions and alternatives given.

Guidance and structured routines provided.


COURSE LEVEL/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Open to all fitness level.


HOW PROGRESS IS CHECKED DURING COURSE

Weekly monitoring via the response at the increasing amount of resistance exercises.


EXTRA STUDY OR PRACTICE REQUIRED AT HOME

MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE COURSE

Wear appropriate exercise clothing and trainers.

Bring a bottle of water and a small towel.

If you are asthmatic do please bring your inhaler with you.
