COURSE AIMS/OBJECTIVES

  • COURSE CONTENT

    An ideal course for all those aiming to lose weight, tone up the body and gaining more energy for the everyday life.


    TEACHING AND LEARNING METHODS

    Instructions given orally and visually via the use of Google Meet tool.

    Students need to be able to use the PC and be familiar with Google Meet tool. There are online tutorials available for the students.

    Encourage the use of WhatsApp for sharing detailed instructions, anticipated questions and communications via a WhatsApp group. To ensure all instructions are easy to follow. .

    The tutor will make a first contact, before the course begins, with each student.

    The tutor will create an introductory activity to put at ease the learners and explaining the format of the lesson. Tutor will encourage sharing and interaction within the group.

    Students will be supported in the use of Moodle, the college Virtual Learning Environmen, to complete their homework,


    COURSE LEVEL/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

    Suitable for all levels of fitness and anyone wishing to improve their fitness level and body conditioning. You do not need to have any knowledge and experience in fitness, as you will be guided to work at your level pace.


    HOW PROGRESS IS CHECKED DURING COURSE

    By communicating during and at the end of each session.


    EXTRA STUDY OR PRACTICE REQUIRED AT HOME

    None. However, exercises and techniques can be practiced at home (recommended always in a safer ways).


    MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE COURSE

    Please wear comfortable clothes and trainers; bring with your own mat, if you prefer so, towel, and a bottle of water.

    Web access.

    A computer with a webcam or a smartphone.

    A peaceful place to participate in the course from.

    An email account.
