We will help you develop your skills and potential. COURSE AIMS/OBJECTIVES

  • To develop an understanding of the relationship between learning to see and learning to draw.
  • To give you the opportunity to explore and experiment with different drawimg techniques, using different medium
  • To develop your skills and potential
  • Acquire skills in evaluating own work
  • COURSE CONTENT

    The course involves drawing from direct observation, still life, landscapes, self portrait and photographs with an emphasis on space, volume, simple perspective and other techniques and concepts.

    Seeing/Drawing skills will be developed and mark making, value, line and line quality will be explored.

    Pencils —

    H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B,

    2H, 4H.

    Charcoal pencils.

    Paper — Cartridge paper any size.

    Other materials may be needed, this will be discussed throughout the course.
