This is a course for anyone with an interest in writing for children and young people. We’ll look at writing for picture books, children’s poetry, and stories for older readers. COURSE LEVEL/ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

No previous experience of creative writing is needed. You should feel comfortable learning independently, participating in online discussions and sharing your opinions on people’s writing.


HOW PROGRESS IS CHECKED DURING COURSE

You will share your writing weekly and receive feedback from your peers and from the course tutor.


EXTRA STUDY OR PRACTICE REQUIRED AT HOME

Participating in this course will take around two to two and a half hours per week.


MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE COURSE
